Earlier today, we had informed you that the Foreign Affairs Ministry
and Bienestar were reviewing their nominations for the Consejo Nacional
de Adopciones (CNA).
We have just been informed that both offices have replaced their
original nominations with the following individuals. Bienestar has
named Elizabeth Hernández Guerra and, as a substitute, Norma Robles.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry has named Concha Marilyn Barrientos
Marroquin and, as a substitute, Aura Azucena Bolaños de Aguilera.
We are happy that even with the change of representatives, the CNA
Board was named ahead of deadlines and we are hopeful that the CNA will
be able to meet soon and designate procedures for registering in
process cases soon.
Can you say ROLLERCOASTER!?!?!?!
In PGN news, I called the famous Laura today hoping she would say that we were kicked out...and instead she told us we're with the 2nd reviewer!! WHY??? Why would the 1st reviewer not kick us out...our file in incomplete! So who knows when the 2nd reviewer will get around to kicking us out. I think we're in for a long haul.
