Vacation at the beach...

So we have returned from our week in Wildwood/Cape May, NJ. We went down with my parents for the week and we all had a great time. The weather was beautiful; couldn't have asked for nicer. The boys had a fantastic time (which was all we cared about).

We stayed in the same condo when we were there in 2005; its great for a big group. Its really big; 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, large patio w/a grill, big living room, huge kitchen area, washer/dryer, and the boys favorite, the pool. The boys had bunk beds in their room and we brought their PS2 and hooked it up to the TV in their room. They didn't play alot, but it did keep them occupied when we were showering or cooking. Having the big kitchen was great because Mom & I went food shopping and we had breakfast & lunch there every morning. We ate dinner there about 1/2 the time and the other times we went out. It was great having the option, especially with little kids.

We spent the week either at the pool or the beach. In the evenings we did mini golf or hit the batting cages/arcade. One evening we took a sunset sail around Cape May and saw tons of dolphins. We also went to the boardwalk a few times which was a blast. The boys LOVE rides and boy did they go on a lot of them. Thank god for the ride wristband which lets them go on unlimited rides. If we bought the individual tickets we could have easily spent hundreds of dollars.

So all in all it was a great week; about as relaxing a vacation you can get with 2 six year olds! We did go out on Friday night alone for dinner and then we walked on the boardwalk. It was nice to have a few hours break from the little ones!! We're already planning on visiting again next summer, hopefully with our little girl!!!
