It's official...Ava is a Torres as of March 5th! That's the day the final adoption decree was signed by her birthmother...and that's the day we officially became her parents...officially (boy, that was a lot of "officials"). There is no feeling better than this...we've been holding our breathe since we saw her face for the first time on September 18, 2007 and now we can finally exhale. It's official. :]
Now we wait for:
1. new birth certificate w/our names on it
2. 2nd DNA test
3. and our PINK sheet, which gives us the date to come and pick her up! (s/b mid-April)
We are officially a family of five...yay!!! And here are a couple pics our foster mother emailed us today!

Ava's coming home, Ava's coming home! Just visiting your blog makes me so happy. And just thinking about our kids being OUT still makes my stomach turn over.
