Well, it was Semana Santa (Holy Week) last week in Guatemala and most offices were closed the better part of the week. Due to some scheduling conflicts, Ava's DNA test did not take place on the 18th. It was rescheduled for today, 3/25. So we need to adjust our timeline and re-guesstimate when our pickup appointment will be.
The lab should have the results by Friday...they will fedex them out to the USE in Guatemala who should receive the results by 4/1. It may take a week for them to issue our PINK notice, which would be 4/8. The appointment s/b around 2 weeks from then which would put us at 4/22.

Oh honey, that sucks, I am so sorry.
While you know she will be home soon, these little setbacks so late in the process can be miserable. Keep hanging in there!

Oh man! Hopefully pinks will be issued sooner than the normal two weeks to bump you back up a few days! I'm sorry for your delay! She will be home soon, though!!
Oh, Boo-Hiss is right! Totally know how you feel (any delay is painful)...but-- before you know it your little princess will be home where she belongs! :-)
