Some Central Authority news...

Someone posted this today and a bunch of people said they heard the same thing from their attorneys and/or agencies. Let's hope they're right!

All three directors (or whatever they are called) have now been appointed to the Central Authority. And, word is that even a secretary has been hired to assist with registration. According to my agency, many attorneys are confident that the registration of in process cases will begin as soon as the CA can acquire an official seal or stamp for marking files!!!

My contact said that the CA is up and running and that they have been told by a member of the "Higher Staff", that was appointed to the CA, that they are to bring all cases to them next week to be registered.

And there was an article in the Prensa Escrita that said this...

Last night was sworn in the National Council for Adoptions (CNA), the central authority for adoptions in the country, which seek to provide transparency and streamline the way administrative records and then move it to a judge to issue the final decision and the statement of adoptability of minors.
