Our agency's update...

Our agency sent us an update tonight trying to clarify what was going on with the CA. They confirmed that the CA will not be accepting new cases until further notice. Now, our registration forms have been filed with them so that is not an issue for us. But there are many families with attorney's who have not filed their forms yet (those w/other agencies, not ours). They will also not be issuing any certificates (which is what we are waiting for) until some legal stuff is cleared up. There are members of the CA that the President wants out, so he fired them, but they're appealing and that needs to be cleared up before anything else happens. Also, the CA was using temporary offices which are now not available to them...so they currently have no office (I heard from someone else that they are in the process of moving). They also said that Ethica was wrong...that there is only one CA, not two...so that rumor s/b put to rest.

So that's where we stand...waiting again...I'm assuming this will all shake out in the next two weeks, because the deadline for registration is 2/12 and that is only 7 business days away. Come on CA, get it together will ya!?!?!
